Nuts and Bolts

At Cordova we understand the importance of post-secondary education and the significance of passing grades. We offer tutoring and support for nearly every college-level subject and are excited to help students master their material and garner good grades.

We also understand, however, that in order for a tutor to be effective the student must be in a comfortable learning environment. In order to help accomplish this, Cordova offers the first tutoring session at half-price - this allows tutor and student to become familiar and try the learning experience. Cordova tutors meet in neutral locations like libraries and coffee shops, not homes, in order to achieve an environment both safe and free from the distractions/responsibilities of a living space. The fee schedule is as follows:

Rates per Session:

First hour: $30
Second hour: $25
Third+ hours: $20

In order to provide a better learning experience, we ask that, before each session, students provide us with as many details of the specific subject as possible so that our tutors may adequately prepare; the closer tutor and student are to the same page, the stronger the results.

We wish all students a delightful (if slightly warm) autumn, and we look forward to helping you conquer your academic aspirations soon.

Opening Day

Cordova Academics, launched by Stephen DiMare and Chase Long, is officially open and accepting students for tutoring. Should you be in downtown St. Augustine, you might have noticed one of our green or squash-colored fliers clinging to a light post. We offer a warm welcome to Flagler students of all majors and hope to be able to aid you in your varied and multi-faceted academic needs.
